About Us

Amazing Grace Enterprises (AMGE) took over ownership of the Washington Park Cemetery (WPC) on July 31, 2009.  The purpose of AMGE’s ownership is to provide perpetual care to WPC; a site where over 44,000 individuals are interred.   The goal, job, and position of AMGE is not to place blame on anyone or entity for the demise of WPC, but to devise artistically creative ways of revitalizing and maintaining the cemetery.  The City of Berkeley has become an ally of AMGE towards the restoration of WPC.  There are countless organizations, families, religious groups, and people who have buy-in towards the restoration efforts of WPC.
